"STUDY OF THE EFFECT OF LIDOCAINE OR VERAPAMIL ON SOME EXTUBATION RESPONSES"
-Working as Associate Lecturer in Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University from April 2000 till July 2007.

Abdominal surgeries
Excellent experience in managing patients with different abdominal pathology, including anesthesia for abdominal cancer surgeries like cancer head of pancreas, gastrectomy, splenectomy, cholecystectomy, hepatectomy and colectomy.
Laparoscopic surgeries
Very good experience in managing patients presented for laparoscopic surgeries, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic colectomy, laparoscopic fundoplication, laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy and different laparoscopic procedures for morbid obesity.
Breast cancer surgeries
Great experience in managing patients with cancer breast and providing different modalities in anesthesia for those patients like general anesthesia, paravertebral regional anesthesia and high thoracic epidural anesthesia.
Gastrointestinal Endoscopic procedures
Excellent experience in provision of anesthesia for patients presented for different GIT endoscopies like upper GIT endoscopy, lower GIT endoscopy and ERCP.
Gynecologic procedures
Great experience in anesthesia for different obstetric and gynecologic procedures, performing regional analgesia like spinal anesthesia, epidural analgesia and combined spinal-epidural analgesia. Good experience in managing patients with antepartum, postpartum hemorrhage, placenta previa, abruption-placenta and pre-eclampsia of pregnancy
Urologic procedures
Great experience in provision of anesthesia for different urologic surgeries including stones, TURP, radical cystectomy with bladder conduit and radical nephrectomy and different other urologic procedures.
Vascular surgeries
Good experience in managing patients with different vascular procedures like embolectomy, aneurysmal surgery, graft surgeries, varicose vein surgeries and different other vascular surgeries. Different anesthetic techniques are used in such cases like general anesthesia, regional anesthesia whether spinal or epidural analgesia and nerve blocks.
Orthopedic surgery
Very good experience in patients with elective orthopedic surgery like total hip or knee replacement or trauma surgery including fracture and dislocation and insertion of plates or interlocking nails. Anesthesia for those patients are usually regional or sometimes general anesthesia with postoperative care of those patients as they are often debilitated, and elderly patients and liable to deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.
Paediatric surgeries
Good experience in managing neonates and paediatrics with different pathologies like tracheoesophegeal fistula and other congenital anomalies.
ENT surgeries
Excellent experience in managing different ENT procedures like bronchoscopy, laryngectomy, tonsillectomy, uvelopalatopharyngeoplasty, adenoidectomy and different ear surgeries.
Neurologic surgeries
Excellent experience in managing different elective or emergency neurologic procedures like brain tumours, intracerebral, epidural, subdural and subarachnoid hemorrhages.
Cardiac surgeries
Good experience with various cardiac surgeries like CABG and valve replacement, with good experience in dealing with heart-lung machine.
Intensive Care experience
More than 11 years experience in managing different ICU patients whether general ICU or coronary care units, with good experience in dealing with different types of modern mechanical ventilators and good experience in performing different ICU interventional tasks like arterial line insertion, central venous line insertion and Swan Ganz catheter insertion.
Pain management
Very good experience in managing different pain modalities whether cancer pain, neuropathic pain and chronic backache by different pharmacological and interventional procedures like neurolytic nerve blocks or plexus blocks, epidural analgesia with port-a-cath or programmable pump.
