Basic Molecular Biology (level I)

MTC announce launching a training program in "Basic Molecular Biology". The program aims to introduce Scientists and clinicians to molecular isolation and characterization of DNA, RNA, and protein.

The program organized as following:

DNA extraction

Practical session (DNA extraction from whole blood)

21-6-05

RNA structure and function

RNA extraction

Practical session (RNA extraction from tissue)

22-6-05

Protein extraction and characterization

Practical session I (protein extraction)

23-6-05

Practical session II (SDS-PAGE)

Practical session III (Staining, distaining, visualization)

This program will be a requisite for the forth-coming program (basic molecular biology level II) which will be mainly about PCR and Western analysis.
